As Phase 1 of the Kilcloon Community Centre nears completion, KCC is delighted to announce that Kilcloon has been awarded €100,000 of grant funding from Meath County Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development. The announcement was made today by Minister Heather Humphreys.
This grant is the first of its kind to be awarded to Kilcloon. KCC applied for funding to support the development of the Village Square at Kilcloon Community Centre, including the construction of a recreational space and landscaping. The Village Square and its amenities will be fully inclusive, accessible for all, and cater for all ages in our community. It will provide for a much needed amenity and multi-purpose space for a wide range of users of all ages with active and passive spaces for socialising, exercising and meeting. |
